it has decent lights (projector lenses etc) so the fogs are just fogs really. worthless really.

Ive only taken mine out late one evening to town but the lights were ok, had a problem with passengers sidelight and ended up having to take the light out as the sidelight is at the bottom of the light. they don't make things easy ..lol

so rad is installed, bled and seems to be working as it should. fan is kicking on at 100deg so thats good. Clam fun though. foglights are junk, grille V is off and everything (bar the arch liners) is re-installed. test drive seemed to go ok but will get it out a proper run later and scalp it.

to stop the bonnet hinge rubbing again I stuck a little cable wrap on it so it shouldnt happen again. And the housing needed a little trim to allow it to sit properly over the thicker rad.

Also noticed while I was in there that the Bilsteins looked very past their sell by date.

Thankfully Id done a deal on these a few days ago:

And also a set of Avon ZZR tyres. Not loads of tread left on them but will defo do a few trackdays and they were cheap enough to try out.

Don't think that bit of wrap will make any difference at all. Those wee fins are so thin they bend just by looking at them...

If anything it might make it worse as it reduces the clearance instead...

Good job, quick turn around.

I think there's someone on the vx220 owners facebook thread making the replacement fog light brackets.

Seen you down at the garage, it looks extremely well without the front griffin grill bits.

Ever since I got the car I wanted turbo ears so I got a set of the rep ones a couple of weeks ago along with the turbo rear spoiler. Spoiler is easy but the ears are a grinder effort.

so got stuck in. dust everywhere! Nicked the sill too ffs so wee touch of pon required :grinning:

only trial fittled the ears (primered) which needed a little fettling so will get them sprayed up and bonded in.

Turbo ear project trundles on slowly. Needed to prep the clam as it would be visible through the mesh. scoops are painted, mesh needs bonding in and then bonded into the clam. fitment isnt amazing if Im honest but thats reps for you.

Thanks for the link man, and yea no bother. I thought you’d forgotten about it lol. It was a neighbour that saw in the boot the other day and said “what the hell do you need that for, who annoyed you?” Lol. Thought I’d better get rid quick before I’m accused of something lol
