Lovely 😎

Some very rare interior bits you have gathered up, shift lights and steering wheel 😍

When you replaced the top mounts did you reuse the strut brace bolts or buy new?
Thanks 😊

There are a few rare bits alright but unfortunately the steering wheel is a retrimmed on from Royal Steering Wheels. They done a fantastic job and only the fact its not that slight bit smaller diameter than a genuine JCW one, you could never tell the difference.

No, I’ve never seen any need on any of my cars to change the top mount bolts

So another update. I've missed the chrono pack ever since my previous R53. Unfortunately the centre chrono clock holds the mileage of the car it's fitted to and there is absolutely no way to change this. I'd sort of faced the fact that it wasn't going to be a viable retrofit until we got a car in to break with only 1k miles more than what my car was on.
I noted the miles of the donor car and patiently waited until my car hit the same mileage. I was then able to retrofit the chrono pack and have it all coded correctly to my car and due to both mileages tallying up there was no issues with mileage tampering etc. So now I have the full chrono pack fitted and working as it should, delighted is an understatement

Also after a long time searching I picked up a set of BBS RC323. They were sent down to Prentice Alloy Clinic for a colour change from dark anthracite to brilliant silver, then a new set of Michelin PS4 fitted. Absolutely perfect job from the guys down there, can't fault them at all.

Then just wee bits to tidy up so while the wheels were getting changed, the arches benefited from a clean

Rear lights were removed and buffed

And then a final wash and trims dressed with Gtechniq C4

Great thread and cracking car👌 I'm trying to by an r53 at the minute, I went to look at one last night and when I got there the seller had taken the headlight bulbs out along with the radio and door speakers 🤦‍♂️

Thanks 😊 They are brilliant fun! Quite thin on the ground at the minute for good ones. That’s certainly different, never heard of anyone taking out the headlight bulbs before someone comes to view it 😂

Yep I've been in the motor trade since school drove one or two coopers and I've always wanted one and my friend has just built one so I'm busting to get myself one. Those bulbs cost her £20 but she had ones for me to replace them with and the speakers she just bought them lol. She's was a nutter she stormed off whenever I said I wasn't interested in the car, it needed about a grand spent to make it road legal even though it had mot, it has three brand new bald tyres 😂😂
