I have 1.9 jetta 2006. BKC engine code . 144k
It was driving fine, and then all of a sudden a loud rattle noise started to come when I accelerated. The noise is also there when the car is sitting idle.
I had it looked at and was advised it was possible camshaft problem. When you open oil cap and remove dipstick there is white smoke comming from them. Just wondering anyone come across this before?
