Dismantling: 2008 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI

Breaking a 2008 Ford Focus TDCI. Car suffered wet belt failure so engine is wrecked but everything else is sound.

Full exhaust including cat, rear calipers, driver side engine mount and alternator have sold but everything else is available.

Can supply more pictures of parts as required.

Haven’t the engine split yet but should have it apart in the next few days so will check for you

I’d say they likely are as it was wet belt failure which caused the engine to lock so I’d be surprised if anything inside the engine itself was in good shape

@JayT have the pistons out of the engine now and they appear to actually be ok. Split a piston ring on one during disassembly but otherwise they’re ok.

Wings mirrors are here. One of the top mounting lugs is broken but doesn’t affect fitment adversely. I can send clearer pictures of what I mean.

Bonnet release i believe went with the slam panel but will check this evening.

Blue tooth in the ford radio is a module up in the dash. It works for calls but doesn't play music. I've also a android ford look head unit, Bluetooth and all that and I've an xtrons 9 inch unit with dab Bluetooth etc etc
