Offered for sale only is my 2008 R1 4C8, the last of the screamer engines.
I've owned this bike since September 2010 when it had around 3.7k miles on it and I'm the second owner. It currently has 15180 miles but this may rise slightly depending on the weather. In the time I've owned it it has been absolutely faultless and only needing tyres, servicing and super unleaded. The last service was done by myself last August and it has covered around 300 miles since then and with less than 1k on the Pirelli's. It is MOT'd until 13/5/20 and received no advisories. Less than 500 miles covered since the last MOT, hence the decision to sell. It currently has the following extras fitted -
Genuine Yamaha tinted screen.
Genuine Yamaha pillion seat cowl.
Pazzo style levers.
Goodrich braided brake lines.
Healtech gear indicator.
Renthal grips.
R&G tail tidy.
Power commander III.
Akrapovic carbon cans.
Akrapovic decat pipe.
I've removed the white sticker from the lower fairing panels and fitted an all blue seat unit from an 07 R1 as the original seat unit has white stickers that are lacquered over. It looks much better in my eyes this way and I still have the original seat unit. The standard exhaust cans and catalyst are also supplied, as is the spare key and red key for coding the immobilizer.
As for bad points, it's a 10 year old bike so the paint could do with a polish to remove a few light scuffs and swirlies and I have no idea what I've done with the pillion pegs or standard levers. I have no baffles for the exhaust but it's never been a problem with the MOT testers.
£4700 ovno as it is or £4200 without the exhaust, decat and PCIII.
