The Mercedes was a bit settled and a neighbour was selling this looking something more practical so we came to a deal.

2011 Golf GTI Mk6 with only 52k fsh and a lovely spec 5dr with full black leather,park assist,led headlights & tail lights ,dynaudio,dcc,reverse camera & sensors all round.

For some reason the Mk6 never looked right to me when they were released. But, I'll eat my words...

Especially with the LED lights, these have aged nicely. I love the white against the red GTI strip. Lovely car!

You and me both but it was the same when the mk5 first came out I thought it was brutal looking but now I love them.

Make sure it has the engine work done around the timing chain/follower.

Big soft spot for MK6 golfs, that looks a cracker.

LED rears and Xenon fronts freshen these something serious, great to see yours already has.

Mine was my favourite ever car.

I would never debadge a significant car if you know what I mean but I would take that faded revo one off

They do not last, had one on my S3 for a while and Revo even replaced it FOC but they dont last at all!

Your rear wiper looks like its on its way out with the angle its sitting at, I would take it off and re-seat it so it sits horizontally when off or remove it completely and get a bung from killallwipers

Went to remove it this morning until I found out it was glued on

One thing that always bugged me was the car had leather door cards but the drivers side was fabric so I just happened to be on eBay looking for a drivers side leather one and found one.

Started to clean the engine bay down also then the rain came on.

Looking tidy. Did you permanently remove the bonnet insulation? Would it have come from VW with the fabric door card? Or is that a sin from the past owner?

It got all tatty so I’ve another one in the post , just a sim from the previous owner it’s very hard to get a 5dr leather one I just happened to get one by chance.
