After selling the Subaru and using my wife's old Fiesta for around 5 months it was time to buy something interesting. Had my heart set on an F80 M3 until these came down a bit in price.

Spotted this one on Auto Trader through AMT Specialist Cars in Leeds

Flew over Friday afternoon and collected it and enjoyed the drive to Cairnryan with @Harry over the Pennines ...

I'm blown away by the car, so fast and nimble and race mode is just hilarious ... Fastest gear changes I've ever seen and the big paddles really just add to the whole occasion.

With the deal I got the following
  1. x4 Brand New Goodyear Eagle F1 As5's (Being fitted this week hopefully @ Phillip White Tyres LTD)
  2. Major Service paid for @ Alfa Belfast (Going in on Tuesday of next week)

Defo need some decent pics though lol

You should give @Phil_D a shout as I’m certain he researched lots of stuff on his and where to get aftermarket parts and the likes.

Its your fault I have it ... fell in love with your Silver one from pictures lol

Fantastic car is right, seems to be great for every occasion. My wee girl loves it too always giggling away when it goes into race mode for the nursery run lol

Thanks alot mate, much appreciated. Been pestering Phil for a couple of weeks now so managed to pick his brain on alot of things. The springs will be coming from AHM, same as Phils, they have a revised set out so im going to go on his recommendation.

Tyre wise I was going to go MPS4's however in the end went for the G-E-F1's As5's, like their recent reviews and thought they would be a good fit. The stock Corsas are crap until you get some heat through them :worried:

Cheers! Yes stealing Phils mods but his just looks perfect. Hard not to want that look :cool:

Tempted to try 10mm spacers all round but ive heard most spacers rub, AHM tried 11mm spacers and they rubbed so will see what happens.

Ive got that skipping tyre issue you mentioned also ... very noticeable in reverse and at about 60/70% lock. Cant wait to get rid of them. Hopefully the Goodyears stack up to the reviews.

New tyres will sort that, it only seems to be an issue on the Corsas..

Thanks alot mate ... Ill need to grab some products froim you as its covered in flies at present from the drive home from Leeds. Ashamed to say I havent even washed it yet lol
