What size are the spacers? Looks a wee bit much at the rear but could be the pic just. I prefer the Prets too. Love how clean this always is. I’ve been off all week and still haven’t managed to clean mine

12mm spacer on the rear buddy. I think it sits ok personally.

Haha yeah I’m definitely a clean freak with this car.

Back again!!

So few small things added recently. First was an intake to turbo silicone pipe. Only one I could seem to find that fits the diesel engine, definitely adds a lot more induction noise without the horrible diesel pow. Maybe an illusion, but that along with the intake definitely feels sharper.

Next up was a Forge Short Shifter. Silly mod but, why not lol.

Next was some coding to be able to change the colours and configurations of the digital dash thanks to @BBSBOY. After a very complicated bit of coding, but sure Stevie loves it lol...

And finally, just collected the car from @big_pete after a full decontamination and a coat of Gtechniq Exo V4 to keep the ceramic coating fresh. Levels of gloss are amazing!!

Definitely my favourite Golf on the forum. I’d love a nice MK7/7.5 GTD if I wasn’t doing crazy miles.

Nice - thinking myself leaving my car down with the guys for a top up, will be 2 years in around March time next year since it was done.

So, Rieger...the company which made the front splitter has finally released side skirt extensions to match. Hard to photograph and very subtle, but I think subtle ties into all the mods I have done to this car. Very very happy with the fit!

Also got a great deal on Black Friday for 4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3s, so I’ll get them fitted over Christmas.

Side extensions are very subtle indeed.....had to double check the photos to take them in!!

I’m curious to see who you use for fitting tyres?

I like subtle lol, just brings the sides to the same level as the splitter.

For swapping the tyres onto the Prets I used NuLuk, bit of a track for me but worth it to see the job done right. £7 a tyre.

The side skirt extensions are designed for cars without the mudflaps on. I just took a small corner of each of the skirts and they fit in perfectly into the grooved part of the flap.
