2017 Mini Cooper SD 5dr

As much as we loved the A6, the wife just found it too big to park, etc. We always liked the look of the newer minis and decided to try a few out. We tried the 3dr Cooper S, the Clubman JCW and this 5dr Cooper SD.

The wife fell in love with this one the minute she seen it and test drove it. With the 2.0 D engine, it has 170hp and is like a wee go-kart to drive while still giving us 50mpg.

Its a 2017 model in White Silver with the following:

Chili Pack
Visual Boost Radio
Park Distance Control
Heated front seats in diamond cloth and black leather
17" Black Cosmos wheels
Black bonnet stripes
JCW sports leather steering wheel
Carbon Black colour line
Black roof and mirrors

I gave it the once over yesterday using Articulate, Ultrafoam, Ultragloss, Ultraslick, Trim, Hydraclear and Hybrid.

Thanks again to @Jas Lad for sorting us out. Only issue is I can't get the wife out of it now so I can have a go!

Looks really while and quite a change from the A6! My mrs has a moonwalk grey mini and I do love to get a run out in it the odd time, they handle so well.

A wee tint to the rear windows would look good on that car and not cost a lot.

Yeah was thinking that myself. I got the plate onto it today and apart from the tints at some stage that will be it. Thanks to @Woodcutter for sorting the plates for me.

I had one of these for 4 years and it was great. I still miss it a bit, only went at the beginning of lockdown. Great engine in them.

Just a thought. I think I still have a Mini Sport aerial that would fit this and possibly a rubber boot mat if you have the storage pack (flat load floor). If your interested let me know.

Nice colour drove an exact same one but Cooper S petrol. Got a cooper 1.5 D myself Dec last year such an economical car and fun to drive!

We have had this for about 5 months now and haven't done anything to it apart from clean it and drive it.

We have done about 7k in it since we got it and it hasn't put a foot wrong. Great wee thing to drive, nippy and still returning 49mpg constantly.

I still plan to get the windows a light tint and possibly some dechroming.

With the baby due at the end of the summer, this will have to go to make way for something a bit bigger. I love this wee thing, it handles well, is comfortable, well equipped and looks the part. If anyone is interested, fire me a PM. Thanks.
