Does nobody spec leather on the golfs. Cloth seems a bit council to be fair.

The leather is shocking on them imo. My first GTD had leather, after 18k it looked absolutely shocking, never again.

A retrim of standard seats is between £1500-£2000.

As above, I went for the cloth on my 7.5R as i just didnt think the leather was worth the outlay. The demo car i drove had it and even with 4-5k on it, it still looked wrinkled and saggy.

Exactly, hard to justify 2k for it. I think the alcantara is much nicer on the 7.5 compared to the 7

So the GTI TCR spoiler I ordered with the car had been on back order, finally got a call to say it was in. Really happy with the fit of it and it keeps the car OEM+. It’s fatter than the standard R performance pack spoiler too.

Also been playing with the stance set up a bit with spacers to try and get close to how the GTD sat. Springs have definitely beded in well!

Well, just ticked over to 1000 miles. So far I’m absolutely loving it. Can definitely feel it opening up more and with that the MPG is increasing.

Unfortunately a stone hit and cracked the windscreen last week. One of those things you just can’t avoid...I’m just glad it wasn’t the bumper. Quick visit to Auto Windscreens and they did a resin repair on it, so so happy that the windscreen didn’t need replaced.

So happy with the Oryx White paint, really eye catching in the sun and something different to all the other Rs on the road.

Not really sure what else I will do to it. I’m just enjoying driving this one (y)

You know how to have a car looking well! Lots of small touches make this stand out from the rest.

So today’s job. The difference this makes is unreal to the sound quality...highly recommend to anyone with Dynaudio.

Didn’t realise how loud it is outside until @Reno_LV was able to hear it and recognise it was me about half a mile away from the street lol.

Getting a serious itch for Wingbacks again. 😂

Is that a Factory sub build in your boot?
