205 gti axle

i know its a long shot but does anyone have a recconditioned 1.9 gti axle?? if not can anyone reccomend somwhere that does them.it failed on mot on both sides the bearings needed replaced but a few people have said to me not to waste my time just get the bearings changed as it wont last for long. any help appreciated .thanks

someone posted on here one time that you can use a 1.6 axle and just move the disk/hubs across onto it to get the disk braking back, I dont know if thats true or not, I've never done it, but if it is i have a 1.6 axle for sale - 30quid

Not sure how much new ones cost mate but i got 2 of him lately reconditioned ones shot blasted new bushes and bearings and shipping from Leister to Lurgan for £180 each time. He is a peugeot specialist deals in only Gti and Mi16 stuff like that and is really decent lad and quick delivery im sure he could maybe work a price with you if your intrested his prices varry.

Nope you just get one from him. I was on the fone today ordering a engine and box of him for a mate and was asking him about them he said there getting harder to get a hold of he has couple of 309 ones which are 40mm bigger good for track cars etc but he hopes to have some more in really soon. Just have to keep trying him he gets new stuff weekly and depending on condition and demand the price varries but not by much like £20 or £30 but thats still for nothing for stuff you get or the qualiy of it.
