The Cultra Hill Climb returns to the grounds of the Ulster Folk Museum!

I was sent this today- I’d never heard of it! Is this the first 1 or has it been going for a while?

In partnership with Porsche Belfast, so it has decent enough backing.

Might be worth a run!

It's actually a Very good day out and well organised Event

Usually a good day. Had the car on show at this a few years back, was a cracking day weather wise which made it better

Good for the spectators, nice open areas and lots on show in comparison to hanging outta a hedge at a road side lol

I think the first hill climb there was in 1905!

It's more recent years that the other stuff has been brought on too.

It Ran from 1905 - 1930, Then restarted in 2010 according to TSCC, I did it in 2011 & 2012..

I didn't think much of it as an actual speed event (far to short) but its become a good day out!

Yeah, the hill climb is on in the background lol. Usually lots of car clubs/stalls etc. around the house and the field. Good family day out tbh

Was buying tickets for this and thought this would be a cracking thing to have a Goodwood Revival style event at. Get all dolled up for the craic.

Porsche Belfast gave me tickets for this as part of 75 years with Porsche….

Dammit wouldnt have minded that but just a shame its clashes with the dollingstown classic car show at stormont which is also on 10th june, it was a belter last year even with poor weather so will prob head to that instead

Some monies worth to be in charge of. Fair play to you!

I look forward to seeing it and all the other vintage cars. As well as the mental single seaters that have never ran on the hill before.

Think I'll head to this myself with the kids. Rare event coinciding with a weekend off for me, they're usually scheduled when I'm working or have other plans. Must be a decade since I was last at it.

I took my eldest out for a blast for a few hours this evening and he just could not stop smiling.

I think the pesky wee Austin 7 Ulsters will be hard to beat up the twisty hill but will find out!

I am definitely not that young and slender these days. It would take some size of bush to hide me now.
