cav has an old style 30 pin iPod connection to the head unit that allows track control etc

However I was hoping to Bluetooth stream to it

Seen various ones from £5-£30 on amazon and eBay so tried one at £17ish but it didn’t work

However noticed on my wee iPod nano it doesn’t power it up/charge the unit

Yet with an iPod classic and iPod touch both charge off it

Wondering is there a way to check if any of these devices would power up?

Thinking of just chancing a five quid one to see but anyone got one they’d recommend

No it’s an old pioneer flip out dvd screen

But strange it powers/charges some devices up and not others

Tried a cheap eBay jobbie too and no joy def seems to be funny about which 30pin devices it powers up
