306 DOOR HANDLE

I borke the door handle of the 306 this morning! jus came off in my hand!

This ever happened to anyone? is it easy fixed?

unless its snapped it should easily fix back on!

just dont eat so much weetabix in the morning!!!

lol, didnt even have weetabix, god knows wat wud have happened if i had! lol

its jus the actual handle part that snapped off! dunno how to get it back on!

happened on a mates beemer... you need to buy a new handle and fit it

if it just came off in one , no indication before of it becoming loose at one side or anything

then you more than likey have broken it

pug shouldnt be to dear to buy a new one

wat is it exactly i need? the whole inside part too like?

usually just the handle part and a pin/rod to seure it ---- take the car to pug and let them see , they can check were the 'pin/rod' conects the 'handle' to the door open mechanism is all ok

The handle hasn't came off on me (yet!!!) But the passenger handle on the last one broke inside+. and had to buy the whole mechanism from the scrappies!

yeah same thing happened to a mate of mine one nite, car wouldnt unlock and when he tried the handle it came out in his hand!

Was it painted?

The painted one are made from different plastic so get a black one and paint it thats what i did and its standing the test of time.

Peugeot - Door handle comes off
Anything German - Door handle doesn't come off.

i'd take it to a pug dealer.... get them to go out and look at it, then they can tell you what parts you'll need (using their wee data cd).

then go to a scrappies and get the parts for 1/5th of the price :lol:
