Is indeed mate, great engine! Just flashed a MHD stage 1 map onto her the other night and she's become a different animal

Oh aye, just realised i had commented on your thread before, takes a while to add 2+2 for me! Lol.

Got the diffuser on and the faux carbon mirrors off... She's looking better now!

We also have a new member to the family as the young 'un is gonna be 17 soon, out of all the cars we looked at it had to be a Corsa sxi... Because it had tints, deflectors and the sxi lip kit 🤦

She's going to undergo some detailing and I was told the wheels and grille need to go black, so I picked these bad boys up hoping she'll keep the chrome-ish look!

Nothing really to report on this but I'm fairly bored with being grounded.

Safe to say I'm still in love with it.

Collecting parts for a service / health check / preventative maintenance

Gave the inside a good clean including scrubbing the steering wheel (1st time since I've owned it)

Thought I'd give the car an oil change today.

All the stuff online indicates to buy a special aluminium filter lid cause the original can break... Or be careful and use a BMW specific one that fits perfect over the original.... Or be a bit risky and use a generic oil filter removal tool with the strap that tightens.

I opted for the builders strap, a cloth, an oul bar I found on the floor and the best vice grips I could find.

That is the most professional method I'm sure you all agree.

New crush washer, seals and Petronas oil as to be expected. I'm not a complete animal.

Decided to change the tips on the car... The old ones were dog rough and were suited to the se bumper but looked a little lost in the msport one with bigger valance. Originals were 80mm ish so I bought 100mm ish.

I used a seperate reducer (or now, enlarger) so that I would have 2 chances to line it up. The pipe from the box is very short along with the exhaust flap part so I thought this would be the best way.

Holey thread revival batman! (Is that still cool to say??)

Up to a year ago, the 335aye had seen mild to little use since getting a work van, and now the last year I've had an l200 doing the main work, which has meant the 335 has seen even less use. Hence, never any updates.

Recently though, I've decided to get it back to near perfect and then make the decision to sell either this or the L200. Haven't decided which. Maybe both 🤣

Anyway, few niggles ticked off the list already... Sticky caliper needed sorted, front fog light bulb needed replaced, paint peeling on the front bumper and a few scabs on the rear arches.

Car was sent in to AG automotive and he had to replace a bit of inner arch in fear of it coming back after a while but outside arch was perfectly useable.

Next up is full detail, oil & filter, clean the alcantara steering wheel (any advice on this is much appreciated 👍) refurb wheels or stick the fully refurbed mv4s back on (vote your preference) replace the brake dust disc thingys and clean up anything scabby below / possibly waxoil too.

Whats the verdict on waxoiling a car of this age, if you were coming to buy it, would it put you off or be a plus?
