8 year c20xe nova project

Have this we car for years now and have only recently got back to working at it! Started life as a red base spec 1.2 expression bit has been white for 6 or 7 years the red top was already in but took it out to paint the bay here's some pics

Here's how it sat a few months ago

After a bit of welding and some primer

Then some white

And yesterday I got the xe back in its home

That's the first time it has been on all four wheels in a good few years lol

Probably lol the reason why I didnt get near it for so long was I bought the corolla lol oul twincams can take up some time

Got this thing goin in the last couple of weeks just a few we silly things to do to it and then the bodywork needs sorted here she is with the rest of the fleet

Cheers for the comments lads its been a long time in the making lol your just jealous Leigh lol I should have kept the gte astra it would have been on the road by now! Yea the splitter might yea the splitter might go in the bin but I'll see when I have her painted and on the speedlines before I make a final decision

Got a new set of wheels for this on Monday past! Also got a few we bots done to it

Looks cool as but agree with ferret on the splitter, like the timing belt cover giving access to the verniers!

Not a fan of the splitter either as it makes the car look too front-heavy, but otherwise it's a nice clean looking one and I look forward to seeing it finished. Some Gliptone and a scrubbing brush will work wonders on that steering wheel

It was outside in the rain today for the first time in 4 years so that was her wash Keith lol
Got my bumper fixed

Haha I had better windscreen to put into it but my da broke it I just never got round to peeling it off. Very little else done to the pulsar lad thinkin about letting her go I have no need of three cars in he garage lol you want to buy her lol

Bonnet primed

New home made back box

Gonna paint it red for the sport look

Bonnet painted and fitted

I'm liking the look of it now with the debadged bonnet and aero catches
