Handy trick, I put 38mm 30ml pumps on mine, makes it easy to fill the snowfoam lance or the IK sprayer.

1 pump for the lance, 4 pumps for the 6L sprayer is working well for me

Yes, it’s acidic but it’s main ingredient is benzenesulphonic acid which is a mild acid which is last stage protection safe
@Big Pimp or anyone for that matter , am I being a total t**t and can’t work it out or do I just need trigger sprayers for the 2 bottles of air freshener I got last week .I see holes in the lids but totally at a loss lol .
Yes mate. Did I not give you the white trigger heads for the bottles?!
I never got the spray head either when I ordered them, I ended up pouring 1 of them into an empty bottle with a spray head.
Balls. Really sorry about that mate. Shoot me a message and I’ll send you one.

And if anyone has sent me a message and I haven’t replied I apologise. It’s been a manic end to the year

I sent you a message when I got the delivery via your online chat and you were meant to send me 1 a couple of weeks ago.

Apart from very specialised things they do essentially the same thing.

Both should be safe with waxes and such.

From my own experience, Citraclean is a little better at shifting really bad xxxx, like winter grime. Articulate is cheaper and does the job most of the time.

Try both and see which works for you basically.

Great news
What’s the difference between Citraclean and Articulate?
Is one safer for LSP?
Someone else will explain it better but articulate is more of an every wash product and citraclean is stronger and more used for unclogging ceramic coatings or a very heavily contaminated car. Citraclean would be more expensive.

Edit beaten to it 🤣

How much Ultrafoam should I add to a 1L foam gun?

I used 40ml today and warm water to fill it and the foam was a bit watery and didn’t cling for very long?

100ml should sort it.

Or....
So firstly, dilution rate - less than an inch in the bottom of the bottle and fill with water.

Nozzle - I use mine on quite a wide pattern

Dilution knob on top of the foamer - screw it wide open one way and try it. Then try it wide open the other way and try that.

When you find the setting that works, knock it back a half a turn so you’re not drinking through it and it should be spot on.

100-200ml mixed with hot water, turn knob all the way to the - minus way and then half a turn back. That’s the thickest/foamiest setting. Will drink through the stuff right quickly like that.

Should get 2 cars out of a bottle at least, I’ve quite foam heavy tho so does depend lol

I have found that the foam works better for me with cold water .should this be the case or should it foam better with warm water .

I'd use cold water too. Can't imagine hot water in the bottle makes any difference when it churns through ten times that volume of cold water through the power washer anyway?...

I use 75ml foam in a 1l bottle, and the nozzle at the "minus" end and just back a wee bit. But I like it "loose", and that's the original "old" style foam as well. Still making my way through a drum I got way back when, lol. I believe it's "foamier" now.

Either way, just try different dilutions and nozzle settings until you find what works. All just personal preference in the end.

That and the power washer itself and the type of foam gun makes a difference too to what effective dilution you get.

Cold water for everything - warm water when washing I guess is nice in colder weather but wouldn't be assed trapesing the bucket in and out the hose to get warm water

Physically washing the car for me is the quickest process when doing cars - the prep, rinsing and drying takes much longer

@Big Pimp Any further developments with the tyre dressing brush you mentioned several weeks back? Any timescale for when you will be getting them in?

I just use a kitchen sponge, the ones you buy a packet of six or eight for a pound or whatever 😇 🤫 Last a long time too.

I just bought one of these (£4.99) because 1. It is the same brand as the tyre gel, and 2. I'm a mug 🙃

Smell is great, can literally smell pictures of it :joy: but as said, awful for spatter - any satin finished product I have used never seems to splat

I'm another using a Dishmatic after I think it was @Coog suggested it. Currently filled with Auto Finesse Satin and will be for a brave while as I picked up a few bottles for £4 each and still on the first!
