We have just published - Press photographer and motoring writer, Graham Baalham-Curry, is no stranger to the pages of Pacenotes Rally Magazine. In fact, some of his earliest published work was from the Paddy's Day rally at Aghadowey Race Circuit which featured in issue number one, in April 2003...
Back then, Pacenotes was a large format newspaper, and Graham was knocking on doors to help carve a career out of his passions for all things motoring and photography Read the Full Article Here

Very interesting little article.

We walked away from rallying in 2010 after a number of years competing at the top end of BRC and BTRDA events against the likes of Andreas Mikkelsen, Mark Higgins, Steve Perez, Paul Bird, Matthew Wilson etc all of whom were driving ex-works WRC cars. We were in an ex Ralliart Sweden Group A Evo.

The cost was phenomenal for us as clubmen, breaking stuff we'd be looking for second hand parts yet the lads above had brand new everything, money was no object.

We considered changing car to something like an old Sunbeam or Mk 1 and just go out and have the craic at the back of the field but we couldn't bring ourselves to do it as we consistently had podium finishes against WRC cars, so in the end due to the finances involved we jacked it all in.

The car sat after it's last event, unwashed and untouched for 7 years before final we sold it to a guy out in Poland.

Thanks. I never knew 98bhp could be so much fun!

Learning how to gain time, by keeping momentum alone was amazing.
