Does he do remapping too does anyone know?
Rick will do the likes of litchfield tuning however for the older stuff no. I used him for the fitting of parts then sent the car to Bradley Motorsport where a link ECU was fitted & mapped. Fantastic work from them also. I have heard he is extremely busy at the minute so best to get booked in.

Pretty sure he just gives Bradley the cars to map & he does the rest of the work?

No, Lee does the work. Drives the car while Bradley live maps it
Yeah, Lee just hands the cars to Richard for mapping on the dyno.
As above. Don’t think Bradley has a awd dyno. Any cars Lee works on, he drives the Evo’s and Bradley live maps them

He’s probably a big backlog on too but I’ll maybe give him a ring as even if he could give me a slot in a month or 2 I don’t mind waiting, I’ve waited this long lol.

@bludgod Can you do Ecutek mapping for any car or only Subaru?

I've a Mk3 MX5 and the Ecutek is expensive but worth it on these, but looking at their site I'd either have to travel across the water or pay £300 extra for the dongle to have it remotely mapped. I asked Jonny about it as he put an Ecutek map on my Evo many years ago but he wasn't interested and mentioned something about licencing costs...

What about Ricks Garage?
Not heard about him?

no longer offering garage services
Great, even less options.

What about Richard Bradley or Paul Wray?
What is Bradley like with Hondas?

Sean Doyle too, ex pro drive mechanic.
Sean is good

specialists for ECU mapping or mechanical work?
EF is having some engine problems, need someone good to see what is up.

Once I get the Datsun back I'll need someone to help find my over boosting problem when its on high boost mode. I'll also be looking for an alignment expert to do a full setup on her.

The Honda is the concern now, If I had any issues with the RB I'd probably try and get it to Bradley.

Does anyone here know anything about Type Two?

Know a few people who have used type two and never said anything bad.

I think Rick's garage is a great all rounder. Very good with BMWs and pretty sure he took apart the rms v10 plus r8s back in the days to fit exhaust systems etc. Seems to be every bit quality workmanship.

Most decent mechanics can work on most cars.

Mapping can get a bit more specialised just because of familiarity (or not) with software for different ECUs, or access to factory ECUs, etc.

To fix a problem on a daily (take it that's the Honda, or maybe I missed some purchase of yours :innocent:) have a word with a local garage.

Most mechanics don't do many engine builds?

I wouldn't let just any mechanic near a custom built high compression engine that isn't even available in this form from the factory. Also there is the fact it is smoothed off detailed engine bay and needs extra care taken when working around it.

Honda has not been a daily for a few a few years now, its a dry weather only car. I have a boring mazda 3 for that
