Was less than that to swap one on a cayenne including a fairly lengthy diagnosis, installation of dryer and regassing.
My Range Rover is due in next week for a new condenser
I haven’t got a bill yet but mine was similar, took ages to find the leak as it was so small and only lost 3/4 of its has over 2/3 months but they did find it.
The newer aircon gas is a fortune too and the RR holds 800g ffs
Yeah would've had a go myself but looked online and seen people doing it themselves and ruining o-rings or seals and then it having to come out again lol. Not knocking them like, was quoted £350-400 which I thought was at the dearer end. Left a £100 deposit and came back and was asked for £395, thinking I owed £295 but nope. Got a receipt and it said £390 on it, even if it wasn't including VAT there's defo something not right. Can't be melted tho, AC is too coldJesus! I did mine myself a few days ago in about 3 hours and that was a Compressor change too, some stripping involved in it! £300 is taking the pee. Condenser was £77 from ECP

Organised chaos wouldn’t be in itDoes his workshop still look like a grenade went off in the tool box? No idea how that man ever found a tool, but he knew exactly where they all were on the ground .
