Gorgeous car, i'd highly recommend boot modding it, the M4 we had in was done with pops and bangs, aggressive and unbelievably fast, think it was around 520-540bhp.

something electric is on my radar too for the same reasons as the daily driver. When you get a moment would be great if you could drop me a PM with your thoughts on It. Interested in how it drives, range, charge time etc. Others like the Leaf etc maybe have more range but something about a standard Golf looks a bit better to me. At least you got one with the “better” wheels, still small but the standard E Golf wheels are dire.

That’s lovely Marc, knew you had one of these but never saw it. Have always said red would be my choice for an F80, I never really liked it in the e92 and but in the e46 and F80 it looks brill.
