I will. It’s seeing very little use really no need for 2 cars. Need to try and talk the wife into selling hers and getting something between us. Will know better next week. 👍🏻👍🏻

I had to practically give mine away. Had nothing but timewasters. Good luck with the sale if you do decide to sell!

This is the reason mine is sitting unused... I'd rather keep it than deal with time wasters

(plus the MOT ran out just before the TEC's were getting handed out lol)

I’ve been guilty of getting stuck into a car and maybe worrying about how it looks etc first. This time round all the common issues will be addressed on the Gti.
All genuine oe parts for this side of it.
Oil pickup pipe
Cam follower
Dv
Pcv valve
Dipstick
And a fresh new set of genuine gti mats. ABS light came on today iam guessing rear bearings as it’s a common fault and everything else it’s been doing ties up so I’ll order some skf rear bearings tomorrow and just do them both while iam at it. I’ll get a oil air and cabin filter sorted tomorrow along with some motul engine oilView attachment 285516

Where they dear bud? Great work on car and beautiful example. Just got one myself and currently doing a list of stuff to do to tidy up and maintenance.
Think they worked out around £60 this one is away. Was a nice high spec model but like always I get bored easily and when a good offer is there it’s hard to say no. 😂😂

coverdale parts on Facebook. They specialise in oe VAG parts. 👍🏻👍🏻
Good man, rang today to order the same mats but settled for rubber ones for the front only. As a daily it gets plenty of wear and tear especially in the footwell. Next purchase is a boot liner. Yer man was a top bloke, real helpful.

I have pretty much the identical spec as you had. Got some Eibach Sportlines on her there few weeks back. Looks much better now. Although washing it at the weekend i came across some of the dreaded wheel arch rust, bubbles on drivers side. Any dealing with repairs in the past?

I was lucky both this and the red one I had both had the arches done before I bought them. Not sure if Vw are still standing over so much of the repair cost. Worth a call to your local dealer.

Already away @Rossios hopefully you can find one hard to find in good condition now I was lucky to have 2 good ones.
Shame! Been keeping my eye out for the past few weeks here and across the pond and yours has been one of the cleanest for sale
