Had it in to get the inlet manifold replaced and it won’t start now, guy reckons it may be an electrical fault as it’s not getting fuel and won’t start.
Fuel pump operation but won’t pump diesel through.

Any tips to try.. or possible wires to check for breaks..

Find what he broke or plugged in wrong when changing the inlet manifold.

And scan data to see what the ecu is unhappy with.

Had a snap on computer on it and it’s not showing a fault, other than what wasn’t connected at the time, It’s an odd 1..

The computer will not tell you what a fault is. It's up the the operator to look at all the data available to see what is amiss. And what is happening during cranking or trying to start etc.

As well as retracing things he may have broke during the work.

Don't know these engines but the camshaft position sensor tells the injectors when to deliver fuel. No signal may mean no fuel.

The best thing to compliment diagnostic software is a good multimeter.

Volvo's!
Check the fuel pressure rail sensor. Its right beside the inlet manifold. If you're local to Bangor. I have Ofcom. Be happy to have a look

Camshaft position sensor is largely only to identify each cylinder. Crank position is king, and is where the ecu gets its position reference to determine when to inject fuel.

But again, look at the data and see what is amiss, or what whoever did the work may not have plugged in or damaged etc. It would be very easy to see if the crank and cam sensors are working via live data

It’s with an auto spark now so hopefully he can get to the bottom of it
