Worth asking @MarkM did if he ended up using celtictuning ?

Msg TG performance and they said I don’t need to map the dsg for stage 1.

I thought I had to do both regardless of what stage

No. You dont have to at all.

When you start upping the power a lot you can have the box mapped to adjust shift points, speed etc.

Tbh at stage 1 the oem dsg tune is more than adequate!

You don’t need it but I had to map mine 7spd as the original dsg map was terrible after having stage 1. It was Lumpy, shuddered and didn’t know what gear to be in. That was after a few basic setting reset too. Perfect now
