I just traded in a 2008 3.0 1 series and it was by far the least reliable car I’ve ever owned. Left me stranded twice. It had chronic break seizing problems. I had all pads, callipers and disks etc replaced and I still had 6 instances of a seized break. It was a different corner every time. Coil packs needed doing and I did the rocker cover gasket too. Bought the car with 60,000 miles on the clock. Really put me off BMWs for a while. But it did drive well when it worked and sounded decent.
I'm very late to the game here, but on both the Audi you've just bought, and the new 306's (m performance kitted 3series) I think the estate versions are much nicer looking!
What you've bought looks nice too
Hopefully it's good to you!
