That would be awesome man thank you but the problem is I am in work tomorrow! Thank you for the offer though! I will maybe just order from Amazon and it might get delivered Saturday :grinning:

So am I 😂 but if your work happens to be nearby anywhere I'm delivering to I could drop in on my way.

G3 Professional Super Gloss Paste Wax
Fantastic gloss wax, really super easy to apply and rub off and doesn’t leave any white residue in between panels. The waffle applicator pad provides with it is great and helps making application a breeze. Makes the colour of the car shine and pop. Would recommend.
you can even wax the glass, black plastic, etc its the best wax ive use so far...... and for under £20 quid

Hey mate how you find this against the pentawax?

Personally found it a bit harder to put on and take off compared to Pentawex, but I'd say it probably lasts a bit longer. Cracking value for money though given how cheap it is and how little you need to use each time.

I had a tub of pentawax once. Didn’t rate it at all for durability especially. Found naviwax easier to apply and similar durability

Love the BH stuff. A little goes a long long way and it gives really good durability into the bargain

Davy at Procar sorted me out today with some CG 5050 so gonna give it a go tomorrow.

The DA will be out for first time in a while and will see how we get one.

So as mentioned yesterday I had a rare free morning/early afternoon so worked at the car for a little.

So clayed the car then light 2 stage correction using my DA. Would say 75% of swirling removed. Could have spent bit more time and getting last few out but was watching clock has had to be in work for 2pm.

All photos straight from phone with no filters etc.

After clay bar

Tried Auto Finess Tipple after the polishing stage (think that’s it name) for first time, meant to be a decent polish/glaze/filler combo. Smelt nice and very easy on and off. Despite it being a hot day.

Then onto the 5050 wax. Smells and looks very similar to Pete’s 53. From reading online it is meant to be tough enough to remove. It advises 20 minutes cure time, I gave it 5 minutes due to the heat and tbh any longer id still be there lol. Will post beading photos when it rains over next few days but gloss and reflection photos below. And quite pleased so far.

My preferred wax is collinite 915 but when I’m in a hurry I use Dodo Juice Purple Haze.

The only trouble I find is that within 12 hours the birds will have **** all over the car, they mustn’t like their reflections

They poop on it cause they think its reflection off water
Or so somebody told me
Personally I think they do it to piss humans off

Just to round this off, I bought the Fireball wax off @Woodcutter and apart from it smelling terrible and actually making me feel ill, should’ve opened the garage door! It’s so easy to apply and remove and I’m really happy with the results.....

How is the sheeting off it? Does it repell dirt well? You have to be careful with the fumes from alot of detailing relating products for sure!

I drove to Lisburn and back this morning in the pissing rain, that pic is when I got home, bit of dirt on the rear bumper but the car looks clean! Sheets off really well, snow foam doesn’t really cling to it lol
I should also mention that bonnet is covered with Xpel film too

Getting the prep right is the biggest disadvantage for home application. If it isn't prepped properly it won't adhere correctly.

Just take your time and follow the instructions to the letter. You will need 2-3 days to do it from start to finish

That rules me out with no garage currently lol. But just for curious what brands would you recommend pete for home application. May steal my dads garage or just stick to wax😂
