Another few cars bagged recently, another Jetta...

...and a new shape G20 3 series!

IMG_8378.jpg

IMG_8380.jpg

IMG_8381.jpg

These suffer from the same issue as the previous shape with bag to wheel clearance limiting the amount of drop available on the front. Customer has plans for different wheels in the new year so hopefully with a lower offset we will be able to get a bit more drop at the front and maybe get some nice arch to lip fitment. Will keep you updated.

We fitted an Odin air suspension kit with Air Lift 3P management which gives a serious drop when parked up but also loads of lift for clearing speed bumps or awkward entrances.

Let me know what you guys think, I think it's incredible!

Another one we finished up not long before Dubshed was this lovely MK7 GTI Golf.

IMG_8629.jpg

IMG_8630.jpg

IMG_8631.jpg

Running an ABP kit with Air Lift 3P management it has unrivalled drive comfort with the custom Bilstein shocks.

We've done a fair bit of tuning work to this in the past with a turbo back exhaust system, intercooler upgrade, intake and Celtic Tuning software to suit also.

Wow! 7 weeks since I last posted in here!

Apologies guys, we've just been crazy busy since Dubshed.

We've done quite a bit since then and have loads more in the pipeline.

First up is this Leon...

IMG_8623.jpg

IMG_8624.jpg

...Love this colour on these! Oddly enough for being an FR model this has twistbeam rear suspension so is running Air Lift Slam fronts, Performance rear kit and 3P management!

Next we had a little A3 hatch in for the same kit...

IMG_8941.jpg

IMG_8942.jpg

Then we had this pretty cool 350z in for the full Air Lift treatment...

IMG_8959.jpg

IMG_8960.jpg

IMG_8955 (1).jpg

IMG_8954 (1).jpg

...pretty impressed it managed to tuck those meaty tyres all round!

And finally we had this funky little MX5 in for a cheaper entry level kit we were trialling...

IMG_8974.jpg

IMG_8975.jpg

Running an Airllen kit with their own management, it comes in a good bit cheaper than an Air Lift & Odin equivalent.

We have since decided to offer a different management system though as this one isn't as user friendly as our new preferred option.

That said the suspension kit itself is fantastic with plenty of lift available and reasonable drive pressures.

I'll have more info on the new entry level options we are bringing in to help bring the price point down a good bit without compromising much on quality.

Stay tuned!

So for the last wee while we've been testing different air suspension offerings from different companies to try and come up with a cheaper entry point for our customers.

We're aiming this at people who want air, but don't want to stretch the budget as far as Air Lift or ABP, especially on the usually more expensive platforms such as BMW, Mercedes or the Japanese stuff.

After many months testing on select customer cars and our own Passat we've finally settled on MaxLoad.

They offer a wide variety of applications and the P1 management system is a true 4-way digital setup with up to 5 presets, 4 wheel independent control, controller with LCD screen and a free app for your phone.

IMG_0559.jpg

Nicely made products with a quality fit and finish to them. Come well packaged and with plenty of adjustment available on most applications.

For the first project we wanted something special to have the strut kit fitted to...

IMG_8997.jpg

R8 MaxLoad.jpg

...this lovely Audi R8!

Plenty of lift available when needed and is very comfortable at drive height.

We'll be fitting these kits to a few motors in the near future so keep an eye out and as always if you're interested send us a message for a quote.

Cheers,

Aaron

We fitted an Odin air strut kit with Air Lift 3P digital management and hid the tank, compressor and valve block in the boot under the floor as normal.

Continuing the JDM influx we've been having recently is this rather lovely Yaris GR!

IMG_9035.jpg

IMG_9038.jpg

IMG_9041.jpg

IMG_9040.jpg

We actually bagged this for Dusbhed initially as a development kit based on some BC Racing coilovers converted to run air springs. Paired with Air Lift 3P management we used a small skinny tank, an ABP compressor and hid everything under the boot floor.

Recently we had it back in for a slight adjustment in drive pressure and alignment to finalise setup so I grabbed a few photos, as in the madness before Dubshed earlier in the year I never got any!

Set to 75 PSI all round you can see it still has good clearance and the owner can confirm it handles great and he can still push it to be driven as Toyota intended, hard!

For anyone interested in the other mods the owner has carried out it has a forged carbon lip kit, front wings (and now bonnet), Kuhl rear diffuser, TRD exhaust, Varis rear wing and Work Emotion ZR10 wheels.

As much as I like carbon I never liked individual carbon panels. For some reason though I think this looks great! Air suits it so well too

This baller Toyota Celsior came to us to have its existing air suspension setup upgraded to a 3H system last month.

This adds on individual height sensors on each corner improving accuracy when hitting presets and maintaining height with varying loads.

I love the stance of this and it was quite impressive the improvement the 3H system made when making ride height from being aired out. Very controlled and accurate compared to before.

With threaded body shocks, dampening adjustment and camber adjustable top mounts on the front of most applications these strut kits are a great alternative to the higher quality brands.

The P1 management also gives up to 5 preset heights, full 4 way control with an LCD controller and an app for your phone allowing adjustment via Bluetooth.

This Civic had also been given a full Type R conversion by the previous owner including the all important K20 lump making it go as well as it looks!

ABP air suspension fitted recently.

First we had this lovely Golf R estate in for an ABP kit with Air Lift 3P management and dual compressors.

IMG_9210.jpg

IMG_9211.jpg

IMG_9212.jpg

IMG_9209.jpg

A neat & tidy hidden install on this one to keep it practical. As you can see from the pictures above the ABP kit gives a lot more lift to near standard height and the dual compressors shorten the fill time for the tank.

Next we had a really smart Nogaro blue A6 3.0TDI Quattro in for a similar kit but this customer wanted a show worthy install...

IMG_9216.jpg

IMG_9218.jpg

IMG_9217.jpg

IMG_9219.jpg

IMG_9220.jpg

IMG_9221.jpg

Again fitted with an ABP and 3P combo, we also supplied and fitted the 20x10 JR23 wheels with Michelin tyres. Gary came up with a really nice install comprising of dual compressors, copper hardlines, some LED lighting and a nice cover board to keep it practical when not at a show.

And finally for this post we bagged yet another van!

IMG_9224.jpg

Full Lift!

IMG_9226.jpg

Full Drop!

IMG_9227.jpg

IMG_9228.jpg

Full ABP kit again with 3P management giving loads of lift, respectable drive height and plenty of drop.

We also fitted a T32 front antiroll bar upgrade to this whilst it was here.

Here's a few cars we've bagged recently.

First up a MK8 Golf. Being a twistbeam kit we had to use one of our entry level strut kits and paired it with Air Lift 3P digital management. Even though they're a cheaper strut and bag kit they still have dampening adjustment, front camber adjustment and threaded body shocks.

IMG_9256.jpg

IMG_9258.jpg

IMG_9262.jpg

IMG_9259.jpg

Next up was this Veilside widebody kitted 350Z!

IMG_9270.jpg

IMG_9272.jpg

IMG_9274.jpg

IMG_9271.jpg

We fitted a full Air Lift Performance kit with 3P management allowing it to sit right down on the floor but still have loads of lift to keep those deep side skirts and the front lip safe from the road and speed bumps at drive height.

I believe the customer has plans for a custom interior and to space the custom 6AD Forged wheels out to fill the arches a bit more.

Looking forward to seeing it at some shows in 2024

Apologies for the lack of updates recently, we've been super busy!

I'll try to update this in stages over the next few days to show you what we've been up to though.

You might recognise the S14 from the Drift Games lads and although previously bagged (I presume by the Drift Games boys themselves) the new owner brought it to us for a refit including new lines, reset shock lengths, 4 wheel alignment and a completely custom boot build!

DG S14.jpg

DG S14 3.jpg

DG S14 2.jpg

DG S14 4.JPG

DG S14 5.JPG

DG S14 6.JPG

Starting with nothing in the boot at all we applied some sound deadening, created boot panels from scratch, carpet lined them and made a nice filler port for the fuel filler on the right hand side of the boot.

We also installed some audio upgrades as part of the build, then made a nice mount for the Air Lift 3P management with some copper hardlines and painted the tank to match the car.

We also relocated the front wiring loom away from the drivers wheel as it had started to rub through (common problem on the S14 chassis).

The owner has plans to tidy it up even further so we look forward to seeing what improvements he makes to the car in the future.
