Thought I'd better set up a thread for the audio installs we do along with all the other things we offer.

While we can do full on show builds like below...

...we can also do simplistic installs but with a sound quality far exceeding that of a factory setup.

I'll add a few posts of things we've done recently and try to keep this updated as often as possible.

First up is this E39 we had in around a month back.

We installed a double din Kenwood headunit with DAB, bluetooth, CarPlay etc....

...upgraded all the speakers to Focal units...

...and fitted a big 12" Rockford Fosgate sub with a pair of RF Prime amps to power everything...

...all neatly installed and hidden, with the exception of the amps on show in the boot.

Another recent one we had in was this Defender from Bespoke Defenders...

...it already had a few trick things installed by Bespoke like air suspension...

...but the owner felt the audio needed an upgrade to match the standard of the rest of the vehicle.

We fitted an Audison Prima Forza 8.9 bit amplifier, (a very capable piece of kit with a built in digital sound processor) which has enough power to run the Hertz Mille 3 way components in the front and a pair of Hertz coaxials in the rear and to add a little more bass to the system we also fitted an Audison 8" powered active sub behind the passenger seat.

This combination made such a difference to the sound in this, especially for something that doesn't lend itself well to speaker placement or staging.

And finally for today to make this thread a little more current here's a few sneak peeks at stuff we have in the workshop at the minute...

....a retro setup we're working on in an old E34 BMW using Rockford Fosgate components the owner has collected over the years. Old tech but very good quality and we are really looking forward to hearing it for the first time shortly.

And a simple headunit and speaker upgrade we've just finished in a MK4 Supra.

I sometimes miss not having a car with a crappy system - the B&O in our Audi's are grand but I loved my system in my old A3

Cool R34 GTT we had in for some security and audio upgrades recently.

Focal coaxial speakers installed in the front doors and rear parcel shelf behind the factory grills and an Alpine iLX-W690D head unit to bring it up to date with CarPlay, bluetooth audio streaming and handsfree.

We also had a very classy Roller in last month for some hidden USB power points to be installed.

Such a cool cruiser and so very comfortable!

Haven't updated this in way too long!
We had Nikitas Scirocco back in again to install some interior pieces she had retrimmed by Arek Car Design and a few other bits she had dipped by EFS Hydro Dip.

Well, when I say some...

....she got all the door cards and the dash trimmed in alcantara with a green stitch and almost every other piece done in the gloss carbon dip!

Such a crazy car!

Yeah it's a bit "Max Power" style (which isn't normally my thing) but the more that get's done to it the more I like it.

It's a TSI but she did mention interest in doing an engine conversion at some point. 3.2 or 3.6 VR lump would look cool in a shaved bay and make all the right noises!

As of this morning that was upgraded also thanks to Control Customs UK

We added an audio install to this BMW we had in previously for an air suspension boot build.

The customer was so impressed with the work we did he left it back in to get the audio upgraded and make the boot pop even more with the addition of two subs and amp on show. Elsewhere we upgraded all the speakers in the front, including the underseat subs and fitted an amp with built in DSP to control everything and have it sounding much much better.

We had this back in recently for a little more bass in the form of Hertz Mille Pro sub powered by an Audison Prima AP1 D amp, all neatly fitted in a custom made box extended on from the centre armrest/storage box.

Although it already sounded great with the previous smaller sub, this new setup really kicks it up a notch and it sounds absolutely incredible now.

Bit of nostalgia now with this very clean and nicely modified Nova GSI.

We fitted an Alpine headunit and a security system.

A very nice motor and we'll hopefully have it back soon for a custom speaker upgrade, in keeping with the style of this car of course.

Been a few cool audio and security related motors through the doors since our last post.

Not only did this M4 get air suspension, we upgraded all the audio in the car to create something special and sounding fantastic. Full front speaker upgrade along with JL Audio amps and a pair of subs in the boot. A very impressive build in looks and sound!

Next up was a very clean 911 for a headunit...

...we fitted a Kenwood DMX8020DABs unit adding wireless CarPlay, Bluetooth, and DAB.

We then had an R33 Skyline in for a few bits...

...this one needed quite a bit of work before we could commence the upgrades. Booked in for a headunit and speaker upgrade we found some pretty poor wiring hiding in the car so agreed with the customer to address that first and then commence modifications. We stripped the interior out, removed excess wiring, made some wiring repairs and replaced a few items in the alarm system so it worked again. Then we were able to fit some upgraded Hertz coaxial speakers front and rear, a Pioneer DA160 head unit, trimmed the door cards in Bride material, fitted footwell lights and gave the car much needed 4 wheel alignment.

And finally we had this Sierra in...

...which we fitted an immobiliser to for insurance purposes, a common request these days on a lot of modern classics and high performance models.
