So after driving cheapy A2B cars for the past 5 years I decided to bite the bullet and treat myself to a comfy cruiser.

I was after a 3 series and had one lined up but it sold the night before I was due to look at it 😡
This wasn’t very well advertised and was only up the road so had a look.
It’s an ex demo with only one owner after that. Full leather, electric (but sadly not heated) seats, LCI auto. Wheels don’t have a mark on them as the previous owner had them refurbished.

Not a lot of plans really, I’ve been chipping away at a few niggles and more to come. Today it got a set of glowplugs and the module so that should help with cold starts.
I’d like to get the rear windows tinted and a bit of paint tidied up but apart from that very little. Coming from 106’s and a 99 TDI A4 it feels like a brand new car to me!!!!!
Better photos to come when I get it polished up

Looks a very well kept one going on the iDrive appears its a Business Edition as well.

The grey/black trim is a nice change from the usual aluminium as well.

Very nice. I have memories of my mystic blue 520d. I put 100K on it myself on top of what was already on it, and was trouble free motoring, and it handled really well.

I love it. I had a 320d E46 and to be honest wasn’t keen on it at all. This just cruises effortlessly. I’ve had it in sport about three times lol.

Very nice, always wanted an E60 after a mate had a real fresh black one years ago. They are still a great looking car!

Ada tint done the rear windows of my 3 series recently and I was happy with the job and price.

Not much of an update, just driving away enjoying the car.

That was until Tuesday night...

Got a phone call from the wife ‘someone’s hit your car’ 🤦‍♂️
I dont know how the other person did it. Just reversed straight back and clipped it.

The only positive to take out of it was that side had been poorly painted at some point so I was going to get it done during the summer to make it 100%

leaving it in at the end of April to get sorted.

When I first read it, I thought it was a hit and run. Thankfully, as you say, no-one hurt and nothing too serious.
