Driving the F80 M3 up and down to dublin for work has been wearing thin on my nerves with Dublin taxi drivers (who make valuecabs look like saints) and general clampits who can neither drive nor park, I decided it was time for a runabout.

I could have went down the sensible diesel mile-muncher route but where’s the fun in that??

11 years ago I had a 330ci Clubsport which I absolutely loved

Which got me thinking about another 330ci.
Then Aidan off NI BMW told me about a 330ci that he knew for sale

Lovely, the steering in a 330ci is just so right. Seen that car advertised, looked an absolute gem

Lovely Jonny. I still think the facelift E46 coupe look so fresh. Perfect colour too.

I think anyone would be happy with that as a car, looks great @Jonny and as mentioned you are right keeping the M3 out of Dublin as it is a mad place to drive in.

Still a great looking car the E46 coupe. I was wondering were you still commuting to Dublin after changing the 535d. Doing it in the M3, that's mental lol.

Cheers @j44nty

Not sure about preferring it right enough but it’ll be a nice place to be up and down the motorway :grinning:

Looks in brilliant shape, a really good choice @Jonny . A couple of months of keeping miles off the M3 will have saved you the price of the 330ci so it really was a no brainer!

Cheers Graeme, that was my logic too. But mainly peace of mind having something to not really worry about in Dublin was the reason. :grinning:

Excellent choice Jonny, I wish I'd known you were looking at that one - the owner of it was here on Sunday too! Great buy (y)

A car
few wee battle scars but on the whole a superb car for the money, was a good buy that @Jonny. I was gonna bid him if you didnt want it :grinning:
Nonsense ! There’s no work to be done to that, you couldn’t possibly have bought it !

Great Jonny, I’d a 320d sport back in the day as my daily and loved it.
Totally agree with the logic too

Looks like a great daily @Jonny .. I guess not using the M3 daily will make it feel even more special at the weekends!
