BMW F87 M2 LCI

Picked this up at the start of the year as a replacement for my M240i.

I was still enjoying the M240i, and didn't have any immediate plans to change. However, I noticed this popped up in The Country Garage, and thought it would be rude not to go and have a nosey as I only live 5 minutes away. After some maths and a few days convincing myself, the deal was done. Country Garage were excellent to work with, went that extra mile, couldn't recommend them enough.

Previous owner added some cosmetic mods, M Performance style mirror covers from AutoID and a carbon front splitter from a German company called Sterckenn. Still on the fence with the mirror covers, some days I like them, other days I don’t. Splitter is staying on for meantime, think it compliments the winglets nicely.

No others plan but to drive and enjoy!

Difficult to tell how the current situation is going to unfold Nick. I went and viewed other examples to compare, but the cosmetic mods, especially the rear diffuser sealed the deal for me

Took advantage of the current car market, and moved the M2 on. Had been watching M2 prices over the last couple of months, Bavarian had quite a few on, and soon realised their pricing was quite a bit more when I got the car 18 months ago!

Had a quick chat with Country Garage, approached them in terms of buying the car back. They were very keen, offered me a fantastic deal, so I needed a replacement.

The hunt was on, checking the classifieds every day. This popped up on UsedCarsNI, viewed it and left a deposit later that day.

2013 R56 JCW, 62K, with a few nice factory options and Bavarian service history

We previously had an R55 Clubman Cooper D, loved it and always had a hankering for a JCW.
