Changed the R1 for this S1000RR in motorsport colours. 2018 with 2k miles. Performance package with Akra slip on. Think I’m addicted to quick shifting!!

What’s the deal with servicing on these. Are they miles / time like the cars or miles just. Have a want for one of these all be it will have to be a first gen. The reason I ask is I’m at the stage where I put more batteries than tyres into the bikes at the minute.

The S1000RR was a sportsbike weapon that makes a good rider better due to all the electronics, I really enjoyed the year I owned her. The 1290 Super Duke R is completely different to ride, an animal that could wipe out a good rider unless you’re on your game but saying that the best fun I’ve had on 2 wheels. So much torque, she wants to lift the wheel all the time. Nicknamed the “Beast” for a reason!!

Nice one. I remember your GSXR up for sale on here. Hard to get one like that now. And worth plenty more than £5k.

Lovely bike - KTM make some amazing machinery!!
How do you (honestly) use that much power on a naked bike though?
Is the wind hitting you at 80mph not mad?
Maybe its geared a lot lower than a litre sportsbike and settles at lower speed?

Wind starts to get bad at around 130 on a naked bike.

I've been on a 790 Duke with quickshifter/autoblipper and even that was great fun. Can't imagine what this is like.

I’m selling to buy another sports bike!

Too much of a handful? I always wondered was it hard to hold onto Super/Hyper naked bikes on full throttle due to the upright position. Canted forward on the Sportsbikes
