Does anybody know who does bodywork fabrication/metalwork, I’m needing some arches made for my skyline and trying to find original replacement panels in pristine condition is next to impossible.

Cheers

Have you tried SR Autobodies on facebook ?
Not yet, I’ll give them a shout tomorrow.
Just an idea but you could cut and radius the arches which would get rid of the rot and then fit some tasty GTR style overfenders....

I do like that, but I’m trying to keep it reasonably original on the outside so it could be put back to completely standard in a few years if I take the notion.

Check out Bracky Refabs on Facebook, he’s an AE86 specialist but hand makes panels and arches for all cars. Should have no problem sorting that

Theres a fella in Millisle, Wez's car body repairs. He's doing arches and front wings on my mums estoril blue E46 at the minute and the job he's done is something else. Can put you into contact with him if interested. He made the rear arches for the E46 all one piece by hand.

It was half acceptable for drift cars about 10-15 years ago.

Now they just leave entire body panels off instead.

It does look terrible though, always did.

But SR Autobodies as Mark says seem to do a ton of stuff and offer various parts.

Or try and find a repair panel for a car with a similar shape

The rivets really make that look......

Would need to be desperate to leave it like that !! lol

True, I'm not a fan of riveted on panels either, was just trying to show the type of panel I meant.

Wouldn't be hard to smooth them in though to be fair

Check Phil Adair in Carrickfergus, he could probably help you with this.

I would’ve thought any good body shop could do it. Probably just can’t be bothered due to the time to get it right and therefore cost in labour.
I made my own for the 911. I was panicking about cutting them out but found them a lot easier than a lot of the other fab work it needed.
