Yes clean, rub down and paint, it’s is a 2k paint that has to be mixed but they give you correct amount so can’t go wrong

You can hand paint but if you have a spray gun and compressor it will be a better job.

The place I got my paint, ps it’s a single stage paint, no clear coat required

Used there stuff also. Happy with results, hard wearing and has never discoloured. I hand painted though but it flattens itself so no worries about brush marks, was just standard 86 calipers so had semi cast finish anyway.

Good to know about the brush painting, it’s a ball ache to set up to spray.

you done these yourself? my daughter wants to do her calipers on her 718 the same colour and she is talking about sending them away what was the colour code they look class

Yep I did thanks 🙏

As said I have a spray gun and compressor etc so makes it handier but has been mentioned that the paint brushes well too!

They have the correct colour too as long as you buy the one for Porsche and just not a generic yellow

I linked the company above, just type Porsche in the search box

Probably not the thing for Porsche calipers - but well impressed with this for brush on paint...it self-levels and no need for a base coat either

They aren’t any different to any other Caliper tbh, some just get it into their head that you need really expensive paint, you don’t, just the correct paint.

The foliatec and Halfords stuff finish is dead on tbh. I've used both on a few different motors during the past year and they look pretty good when applied. If your partial to a bit of B roading or track days it will burn off though.

No high temp diy paint can stick trackdays, completely burned 2 different ones off 😂

Even can discolour on a quick road blast

Did you ever try this? I need to do the A6 calipers.

I used that kit to paint brand new disc bells and edges.
I personally did not have great results when they dried. Was uneven.
Ending up rubbing them back and vht aerosoling again.

The way the discs came out, I didnt want to touch my calipers with them lol.

Tbf, other peoples pics seem decent. Mine looked cack 😂
