Petrol, not sure. I'm sure regular petrol on a normal car, you could easily store a years worth ok...totally illegal mind. SUL, who knows, there are all sorts of claims about how it deteriorates etc. No idea whether BS or not.

Diesel would last a fair bit longer, or for very long term you can get additives for the tank, much the same as is used for standby generators etc. Sitting a year wouldnt be a big deal
