Anyone used the DIY cerakote paint for an exhaust manifold?

tester pot seems to be about enough to do a smallish part around £40

Can you get it anywhere else?
Been looking to try and get some for intake manifolds. The test kit wouldn't stretch far on them though

I'd split one too but I'm sorta set on silver like the oem finish
Have you considered buying a powder coat gun and trying that?

Guy in Rathfriland does a lot
Of work with it… I got him to coat a few plastic trims for inside car, they were cream and wanted em black for alcantara trimming roof liner

Can’t think of his name at the mo tho… he uses it mostly for gun coatings tho if you can find him that way

Don't know about DIY, but Powdertech do it. Have had some engine exhaust heatshields done in it, works great so far. Don't have pictures of those but there were a few hundred of these Alcon brackets in there being done in Cerakote.

I had a few bits done for interior of cav when I was getting the roof trimmed… grab handles etc

Great stuff, lovely
Finish and very hard wearing

Was a guy called Leigh malcolmson if I remember right up bout rathfriland did em… usually uses it for gun barrels etc so fairly hard wearing stuff

Baked at lower temps for the plastics
