Classic Insurance

Does anyone know if its possible to have a named driver on a classic car insurance policy? My step father and i are insured for our Bmw, he being the main driver and i as a named one. Just bought a 16yr old 205 Gti was wondering if this acn be done? Any info at all lads would be great!!

its either 10 or 15 years i think but it only applies to some cars

most classic companies rule's vary, it's best to give them a ring.

Mr. Rock would be right enough, my insurance company was any car over 10 years old but only the policyholder was insured and you had to be 25 or over.

Think I've tried most classic insurance companies, and none will take you on as a policyholder OR named driver until you are over 25! But if you find one let me know!!!

aon seem to be willing to cover 1.6 gtis over here but you have to go thru the english branch
