coding vin to used LCM... e53 X5

so.... ended up with another e53, was going to break it for spares but turns out to not be as rough as expected!

have a tamper dot beside the miles and can see the LCM has been changed as theres a breakers markings all over it.

Anyone any idea how to code the vin to it, iv googled it to the death with no luck. i dont have pa soft but i do have all the BMW tools, winfkp, tool32 etc.

any help would be mucho appreciated!

It can be done but it scares the life out of me coding so we use a local autospark. Can pm you his number if you need it

would rather try and figure it out if possible, the tamper dot isnt bothering me to the point where id pay someone... yet lol

iv tried with winfkp but for some reason the LCM doesnt show up in the ‘ecu family’ selection. iv the daten files for the e53 but its just not playing ball
