Does anyone know, who would rent out a Race Shuttle, Covered type trailer,

I priced them the other day, they were looking 6-9K not werth it to use it 7 or 8 times a year

Any info would be great, because I hope to do a few mainland shows this year

my uncle has a couple of them now like the one he loaned me - this is the smallest one he has (it scratched the wing mirrors as i didn't fold them in)and its base wider than the van before you count the mudguards.

he also had a cover made for one of his standard car trailers and I don't think it was a major job to convert it so thats an option - buy a decent second hand trailer and get a hood fitted. They are fantastic for storage when you get the car off too.

they are also higher aswell as the lowered sierra is a total nightmare to get on one. Even with my car we had to tilt the trailer with the jockey wheel and heavy people

Looks the job mate, the only problem I can see it getting the car into the trailer as it is majorly low, but size wise it would be ok for my car, as the cossie escort is a wide car and it on

covering a standard trailer would probably be best as they start lower and would still be wide enough and a good jockey wheel and longer ramps should sort out the height problem
