CRACKLE FINISH PAINT RESULTS.....who wants theres done???

Foliatec do black crackle finish. I bet this is for your rocker cover and you want red. I had no joy finding red stuff when I did the civic so just did it in ordinary car paint.

theres an classic mg parts supplier, used to be in dunmurry or lisburn which sold the crackle finish used for the steel dashboads on old mg's, duno if they do red or not but could prob get you some. its quite tricky to spray and get the finish your after tho.

well here is the results of my effort.............

im going to do another as i have a spare one.

any buyers for a h22 rocker cover...........

Nice one. Did the same myself on my car - really lifts the engine bay and especially in your case since the motor is red as well.

its far from rough mate :x

if you sand it down it would look like **** all............

the only way to get factory finish would be to get the factory paint....

would never polish as its made of rough cast chum............. :?

sure u would get a bit of a dull shine but never a polished finish.... :roll:
