Curly Wurly Pressure Hose of Doom

Anyone else constantly wrestling with their pressure hose when washing the car? Any tips/tricks to straighten it out or stop gurning and suck it up?

Worth changing to the Better quality hydraulic hose type, they don’t link and straighten out easily, I got one for my Nilfisk off eBay but cleantec on here sell them too

Aye, get one off cleantec, way more heavy duty and doesn’t coil itself up.
It’s made getting the power washer out a pleasant experience for me and stops that red mist descending

Pull it out as far as it goes and twist it at the lance round and round in the opposite direction.
Looks like you are just lifting it off a reel in loops instead of rolling it straight out.

I got PowerTran in Ards to put my karcher ends on braided hydraulic hose, and made it 20m long, means it reaches right round the car and never coils itself.

I don’t use my reel since I got the new hose, just loop it’s round the top of the handle
