Hi all so after a few years in pre injection learning on the big bikes my brother has taken the leap and we have moved up to superbikes.

We searched for a while looking for something like a zx10r or the likes until this blade alpaeared. The bike was on FB with a pretty poor ad which promised very little until we arrived and realized it had previously made appearances in the pro class in the usbk championship so wasn't going to be sluggish. So after viewing the easy decision was made to call back and agree a sale to then collect the bike that weekend.
A few months on and a quick test at the last trackday of the year finished the season and put the bike into the garage.

The last cbr f3 was painted by Alan at rjs car and motorsport restoration, who is one of the best around. The bike didn't look it's age one bit

Was said to see it go but moved on to bigger and better

Bike was left down with Alan and within a few weeks we got the phone call to let us know it was ready

Two tidy bikes there....what make fairing did you have on the 600? Have a good clean steel frame one myself but contemplating turning it into a track bike. Cheers

Amazing, I was keeping an eye out for him each lap. Some quick riders there today. That was me that waved to you on your way in. Maybe see you at the first race.

Haven't update this in a while had the bike up to Christain elkin for a dyno run and to check it over a month and a bit ago. He said the bikes in great condition and putting out more than enough power. Also fixed the quick shifter while we were up.

Bike put out around 170bhp and 81lb torque

Made an expensive order this morning also

So now we have a 4-8 week wait for it to arrive but no doubt it'll be here before any racing starts. Went for the full gp1r titanium system with carbon sleeve. Hopefully it will colour something like the below

And a spare set of rear sets ordered up just in case. Good to have these things for race days as we found previously with the pre injection having a nice selection of spares can guarantee you don't miss races on the day. Hopefully we will at least get some more testing track days for this season and maybe the sunflower in October but shall see

So today was the first track day for us since the virus has calmed down a bit and standard kirkistown the weather played havoc ๐Ÿ˜‚ started of dry then downpour then dried up again and then a monsoon hit late afternoon to wrap up the day. Managed to get a wet session and a dry session which was grand as that allowed us to try out suspension set ups. Few private track days coming up next month and a chance to run the new Austin racing system which finally arrives tomorrow after 9 weeks waiting. Bike also got some new wheels, more recent blades rims which we got of Tom Wedden

Austin racing system arrived, looks the part only downside is they haven't sent us a downsizing pipe and we need to get another titanium pipe made to fit the titanium arrow headers on the bike. Never straight forward ๐Ÿ˜‚
