Decided at the weekend to see if there was any interest in my VXR Recaro Corsa Seats I had in my octavia..... 4 hours later there were gone lol

So needed new seats so decided to go MK3 FL vRS Seats

I know the rears ain’t a straight fit but if it gets rid of the standard mk2 Seats which if you even look at are dirty I’m happy at that lol

They'll look great and id imagine more comfortable than the VXR seats. The better half had a corsa vxr for a while and i was never all that impressed with the seats although they did look awesome!

yeah they looked great ect but weren’t the comfiest and sat very high aswell

So got the front seats in well chuffed with them

need to do a bit of modification to get the rears to fit

also got the DV relocation done for the K04 Swap

Mk6 GTI style engine cover may suit a bit better with the aftermarket intake though? (i'd normally recommend TTS style, but no skoda version available!)

Fronts were a straight fit

rears are gonna take a bitta work to get in

Yeah will prob just get a TTS one mate, mk6 doesn’t fit as it’s a different engine

Fitted a S3 Alloy Intercooler to the vRS as part of the k04 prep just need my injectors back from R-Tech and it will be time to get the conversion done.

Also this sitting about the house has gotten to me... made one of the old seats into a office chair

Where did you get the intercooler? I have one sitting here all be it from a 8V S3.

I think the manifold covers for the likes of the mk7 Golfs fit the engine bay. Would look even better.

got it brand new off eBay, looked at a 8V one before as there’s loads of them used on eBay but it wouldn’t fit so had to go for 8P one instead

Almost ready for the K04 Swap
Turbo Has Been Refurbished at Turbo Shack in Antrim

I Sent the Injectors away to R-Tech for cleaning only to be told that one of them was scrap and they recommend I replaced the faulty injector.

I could understand why when they sent me a photo of the filter baskets they removed...

so I’ll have to order up a New k04 injector and a RS4 Fuel Return Valve and we will be good to go with the conversion

just need to gather up all the gaskets ect needed aswell.....

Still haven’t got the k04 turbo fitted
Hoping to have it on next month, not much else done just apart from a Outer CV Boot and a quick oil and filter.....

K04 is a Go!!!!!
Finally after 8 months of having the turbo I’m finally getting it fitted to car this week and mapped

Also fitted the 310mm R32 Rear brake setup I got off @Neil_M a year ago massive difference in braking power with the 345mm fronts much firmer pedal

Will Report back with power figures once I’ve got the car back....
