Seen on Facebook the local police asked her to come forward so think they gave her the chance first. As you say she should have her door put in and dragged out.

Well when there was a recent thread here about a fictional accident and false insurance claim...and the police near rammed the innocent parties door in ( in reality the victim )...it does make you wonder if they are in any way interested in pushing road safety matters.

It's hardly good policing to ask someone on social media to hand themselves in ? lol That'd be a bit like them asking burglars, terrorists etc to hand themselves in via Facebook or something. Hardly a strong message to send out.

And this video is just one of very very many dangerous idiots out there where they also seem to do nothing.

In relation to the silver Astra idiot and why the police 'didn't do their job', unless I missed something there was no reference to numberplates so unless they knocked on everyone's door who owned a silver Astra it may be fairly difficult to find out who actually did it, and there would be no proof to actually pin the charge on anyone.

By asking the person to hand themselves in was a fairly smart move imo, as they now have a confession on which to base a conviction

I would assume the person who made the video would have the registration and the video quality that was posted was not the original. Although if it is, it's one crap camera !

Damn. Now, if the bridge had collapsed and the train come flying off the tracks down on to the road that would've been gnarly.

Best thing about that is the sheep tearing across the field.

Didn't notice that the first few times. I did properly lol when I did.

It looks like the black car (Picasso?) crossed the central white line and hit the tractor. Looks like a fast bit of road too.

Dozy ****er in the black car obviously sleeping at the wheel or hasnt a clue why roads have white lines.

Is there a section in the highway code stating stay on your side of the road and do not drive head first into a huge ****ing tractor ?

Would not like to be in that Polo (I think) when hitting a tractor. To be fair though, makes a change, usually its the tractor flat to the mat, middle of the road with a 16 y/o at the wheel on the phone.

I'd guess a mobile phone was involved here.

Surely a polo should bounce off a tractor. Im surprised it made the tractor do that to be honest.

It's the speed of the car, even though it is a lot lighter than the tractor. Also the front of the tractor was pulled sharply to the right, but the tanker wants to keep going straight so the whole thing jackknifed.

I remember seeing an accident when I was a kid where a ford escort rear ended a tractor (with no trailer) and the tractor was flipped right over on its roof.

The TV news showed a bit more of the aftermath and the front wheel on the tractor was a right mess.

I wouldnt guess...it was some asshole not using their eyes. Doesnt matter a **** what was distracting them, it's the same end result. Why people obsess about phones is a mystery, especially when blind idiots like that crashed well before mobile phones even existed.
