Well lads how’s things now ?

I took abit of a head stagger when selling the Rangerover few weeks back and decided I wanted something abit fun for the weekends when I’m home from working away , The Jeep was brilliant , all the comfort in the world , big flash for not too much cash but it just wasn’t ticking the box of having something fun. It lay up all week while I was away and That’s a No No on every landrover spectrum so it was time to go.

I’ve wanted one of these for quite a while and searched high and low on all used car sites , England etc then finally fell across this on Facebook marketplace.

Ford Focus ST3 Facelift

Belows a few specs I got when buying the car

Running Collins Performance Stage 3 (RR @ 327bhp)
Bryshifter short shifter
Hardrace gearbox torque mount
Hardrace wishbone bushes
Airtec stage 3 intercooler with pro hoses
Symposer delete bung
RS Induction box with RS piping and servo pipe set up
Genuine RS ECU holder Set up
K&N 57s air filter (regeneration kit included)
Auto specialist plenum
Bilstein B8 shocks with upgraded top mounts
Cobra springs 20/40 drop
Miltek 3" downpipe
Custom built 3" sport cat
Mongoose 3" section 39 cat back
RS clutch and flywheel
Block mod kit ( a big Must on these cars)
Collins turbo actuator
RS Injectors

The previous owner was that fussy he installed genuine RS factory rear Windows as he didn’t like the tint 😂 love the attention to detail

Car is pretty well specd and body work is really good overal so I’m happy. I had it fully detailed just after I bought it and protected with geoncan coat .

Plans are to get the wheels off and go back to Genuine facelift alloys.

I have front and rear splitters from maxton design to go on and new mudflaps as I think they are a must and the main thing just to enjoy it

Such a good car these. We had 2 over the years, they are such a nice car to drive and the noise is glorious. Looks really tidy that.

Not dying about the wheels, but love the colour, and the facelift is still great looking 👍🏻👍🏻 If you're away all week there's no point coming home to get into a jeep, you'll be much happier popping and banging about in that! 😂 It looks mint too, health to drive 👍🏻

I know this car! There's a video of it on here somewhere at a Dyno day at Gsportcars was there with one of my old ST's fussy isn't the word for the lad who owned it. Think his name was Gareth?

If it hasn't already got it the Whiteline anti lift kit is one of the best things I fitted to any of my ST's really helps them get the power down and gets rids off the wheel hop they can suffer from.

Edit: found the video, your cars around the 3 minute mark 👍

Great cars, and sound fantastic. They are a very capable all-rounder, subdued when it needs to be and rapid when you want it to be. That looks like a very tidy example, enjoy

Lovely, looks in great condition! Had a red one at 320hp a few years back. Really is hard to beat the noise of the 5 pot and they handle great too! Enjoy

Thanks Pete , the Volvo plant is something else. It’s hard to match the noise of them I believe.

Me either 😂 yes the jeep was brilliant in so many ways but didn’t do me for the weekend when it became the only time I drove it. Yes serious popping and banging lol

Yes this is Gareth’s old car , he sold it to a lad down my way who had it for a very short while and didn’t know much about the car. I got in touch with Gareth and he has been more than helpful and even offered to buy it back lol. This man is so picky about his cars so I believe I got a good one

I must actually look into this , I’ve been looking at Quaife LSD to try help reduce the torque steer

Thanks for that video , Gareth had it on a the rolling road with triple 7 since and that’s where it made the bigger BHP , not sure what had been done since but good seeing this old videos of our cars.

Thanks mate , it’s hard driving it around town without giving it a blip 😂

Small update :

Eventually found a good set of standard wheels just refurbished and falken tyres on them.

Makes a world of difference IMO

Also fitted Maxton Design front and rear splitters and fitted a set of RallyFlapz mud flaps which set it off just nice

Bolas forsale if anyone’s interested
