Well shes fully legal now, so I took it do drop off some parts yestarday in lurgan, and apperently I was "spotted" by several people. Just a shakedown to check nothing falls off or leaks.
Having never driven a LHD vechle on RHD roads it was a little strange at first especially since its the width of a lorry, but I got there in the end and this thing is so comfy to drive, and would easily be as fast as the Golf R in a straight line Its a complete monster once the boost comes in, still a little giddy from it and we havent even tuned it yet.
Dad still maintains the 306 is the best vechile in the fleet lol.
So hopefully after all this lockdown is over Davey who owns it will come down and we can start pushing the boost uptowards the 60psi and get this thing on the rollers and see whats shes making.
Also need to get the paint detailed and get her aligned and im going to lift the exhaust an inch or 2 tonight as I think its a little low.
But yea im going to stick a few miles on it locally and keep ironing out the little details.
Cheers,
Ged
