Just watched a couple of the Hoovies videos last night, good watch! The Bentley was hilarious.

What happened?

From his Bakebook

I have been getting lots of messages about my Ferrari and what's going on with Parker at Vehicle Virgins. I'm devastated to report that my 355 exploded shortly after shipping it to California, but nobody was seriously injured and it was totally was not Parker's fault. This happened before Parker left for the Gumball Rally and has nothing to do with his disappearance. Hopefully he just needed a break. Video coming soon!

I enjoy Hoovies garage

If I was a bit more well to do, I'd be going about buying random crap and it costing me a fortune. The Wizard must pretty much be his own personal mechanic.

McLaren was a big step up I must say.

Interestingly, Doug Demuro is his boss.

Thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead... I see Doug finally got his hands on a 22b. Got to be rare enough in the States (if thats where he is).

Was quite impressed there is a 205 GTI for sale on his new auction site too.

You gotta be into your cars to import something like that to the states.

Also an Escort Cosworth on it too!

Watched that one this morning over my cornflakes, very good. He has a real love for the 90's and 00's

Noticed them myself and thought the same. Wonder what they will go for in the land of 6 litre V8s (that produce about 150bhp).

Edit: the wee Peugeot sold for $17,100, about £13,500.

Started following and watching Road and Race - have to say it's probably the best youtube channel I've come across in a long time as it's revelant to me, he doesn't sugar coat any jobs and always shows how tedious things can be, I feel most youtube channels gloss over these. His M3 and 5 series were good watches, and recently got a new garage built.

Agreed, I follow his channel as well. I like how "ordinary" it is, he comes across as a normal enthusiast with a normal budget to spend

Aul Doug is brilliant to listen to. He's the mate that just takes the car and tells you how it is, doesn't affiliate himself with a brand and isn't biased. Quirky yes, but informative and entertaining nonetheless.

Even the wife enjoys listening to Doug's reviews - he's so enthusiastic! I find myself these days watching YouTube channels way more than actual TV/Netflix/Prime.

Car related favourites include Harry's Garage, B is for Build, Doug DeMuro, Late Brake Show, Driftworks, Mighty Car Mods, and hatefully I've been watching Shmee recently because as irritating as he is, he gets some great content.

Aye I watched a couple of videos in a row there and I hate his guts now.

Insanely jealous though that he's driving coast to coast USA in a Shelby GT500 at the minute
