What is the correct way to use a drying towel??
Lay the towel on the car and pat dry or lay the towel on the car and pull across towards you?

Most would say ‘pat dry’ technique but imo the drying cloth quality and your level of safe wash has more influence on swirls

Depends on the type of drying towel I suppose. The thick, high gsm plush type are better pat dried I’ve found.

Only when absolutely necessary, and then use a baby non-bio tablet with absolutely no fabric conditioners

Definitely pat dry, dragging the towel can out swipe marks in softer paints that are horrendous looking, almost look like holograms. Easily fixed but terrible looking
