Finally got the alpinas on. My bedroom feels so much bigger since 21" rims have moved out
Valves on 90% of alpinas (apart from ancient models like e24s) are steel and threaded into one spoke off the alloy. Makes the wheels really clean looking as the valves are hidden under the centre caps
Had to heat the alloy up to allow the steel valve to be fitted otherwise the threads would have stripped so that was nerve wrecking as a replacment alloy is £900 of bmw and a full set is 7k
You might even need an e65 b7 Vin to order them, thankfully that isn't happening
I know it needs lowered but I'll leave that to next year since I've only 1 month left to enjoy the e38
Some pics have a filter, don't. Tryna convert the lemon slice haters
Found it very difficult to get good pics of the wheels on the car. In real life they carry much more presence!
