*Sighs in relief*

I've been looking for a black facelift 750iL e38 for 2 years now. From I got the 740 the facelift 750s have doubled in value.. literally. So its very satisfying knowing that I can turn off all e38, v12, 750il tags on ebay now :joy:

Before I go into the purchase and delivery fun I'll share some specs

Bit more spec that my old 740..

To summarise, its a 2000 facelift in Schwarz II (Jet Black) with an extremely rare interior called Volleder Club. The only car in the UK which is spec'd with that interior and exterior combo

Car is in england atm. I haven't even seen it ! A friend kindly offered to view it for me. So I bought it over the phone and I'm currently trying to organise transport to leave it of at his house. He's going to retrim the headliner and parcel shelf in Alcantara, then once he's finished I'll hopefully go over for it or get it picked up

Heres some dealership pics. Its on diamond cut e38 parallels atm, but they won't be staying on it for long 8o|

Unfortunately about 5 years ago the previous owner decided to replace the interior with one from a different car. He actually binned the seats which nearly made me faint when I heard it  he said they were worn and tatty, which seems to be a common problem with club interiors. So he stuck in different ones. The ones he put in are really nice, Nappa heated contours which are pretty rare but id like to get an original club interior back in the car, by finding an interior or re-trimming mine to suit. Thankfully it still has the original club door cards, which are two tone

This is the original Interior - comfort seats

I'd like to keep the contour seats but re trim them club style. They are so much better looking and more comfortable than the wide comfort seats the car originally came with

I'll post the rest of my plans for it when I get it home

Heres a link to its place in the e38 registry. The pics are pretty old, but you can see the actual interior in there

Thanks for looking

That is delightful. Very very nice mate. HTD.

Is that two you have now or have you more. It's kinda difficult to keep up.

Thanks Craig. I’ve still got the e32 750il and a couple of 5s. Would like a black e32 750il but there’s none around, especially in the spec of my calypso
I would leave the seats as it is. All that needs is a drop and your 21s. Glad you got sorted in the end
Thanks Trev, can’t wait to get the 21s stuck on it. Glad I held onto them

Lovely. Do E39 steering wheels fit these? I've seen some E38's with them and they freshen it up a bit inside

That is unreal Steve! Dropped on 21s would be the absolute ticket!

Alpina front lip on these looks good too!

Plans for the interior sound good too, did you get any word from Del?

I’d like to fit a half wooden one but they are extremely rare. Some are also heated which is cool

Haha didn't know that. Wouldn't worry, the XJ is similar length and nothing was said when I brought it over under a normal booking.

Thanks guys. Won’t be coming home for a while yet. But the headliner will be worth the wait. He’s currently doing an e39
